The 2024 KTM EXC range gets a new frame to start, which improves longitudinal and torsional flex parameters, improving rider feel, absorbing energy, and straight-line stability. Along with that new frame, revised suspension parts are included. A new mid-valve piston idea has been added to the 48mm WP XACT closed cartridge spring fork up front to improve oil flow within the closed cartridge.

The 2024 KTM EXC series also receives a new two-piece subframe for the rear of the bike that is made of a combination of polyamide and aluminum to make it both lightweight and sturdy. All of the EXC bikes' electronic parts, including KTM's new Offroad Control Unit, are housed in the subframe.  

In addition, the new OCU does away with a ton of fuses and relays that were required in the old design. It is programmed to deactivate independently if a certain electrical component malfunctions. Riders can troubleshoot more rapidly if they can see at a glance if something is wrong with the LED lighting system (green means go, red means stop).

The 2024 KTM EXC series also features brand-new bodywork, including work done in conjunction with the Red Bull KTM Factory team to enhance the rider triangle and ergonomics of the new bikes. As a result, even when standing up, knee contact is improved. A new transparent tank in two sizes (one for the two-strokes and one for the four-strokes) and a new front fender with mud-repelling fins allow you to clearly check the amount of your fuel.

How about engine modifications? The electronic throttle body injection, or TBI, is now available for the two-stroke EXC bikes starting in 2024. In order to prevent issues brought on by excessive fuel delivery during difficult uphill and downhill riding conditions, the reed valve housing has also been changed. These modifications have also added two engine maps to the two-stroke range, which are switchable.

KTM lowered the front sprocket by 3mm and tilted the engine two degrees backward on the 2024 EXC four-stroke motorcycles to decrease the center of gravity. These maneuvers enhance mass centralization and anti-squat nature, which enhance handling in a variety of rider circumstances. The four-strokes now come standard with traction control and a quickshifter as well.

The 150 EXC, 250 EXC, and 300 EXC are the three two-stroke models offered by KTM for 2024. The 250 EXC-F, 350 EXC-F, 450 EXC-F, and 500 EXC-F are the four models that make up the 2024 KTM EXC-F four-stroke line. KTM sells its bikes all over the world, thus pricing and availability will vary based on the market. KTM estimates that the 2024 EXC range will start to arrive in dealerships in June 2023.
