Yamaha NMax is one of the most popular scooters in the world. Yamaha Nmax   has become a household name now. Yamaha has succeeded in strengthening its dominance in the large 150 cc scooter class by presenting Nmax 2021 or All New Nmax 155 Connected. Yamaha does not hesitate to equip Nmax 2021 with a variety of sophisticated features and technology. In addition, the design or appearance is also made more aggressive. The curves of the body seem denser with firm lines. The design is more sporty, but still doesn't leave an elegant impression. 

First Generation Yamaha Nmax 2012 The
first generation Nmax is equipped with an engine with a capacity of 155 cc. The breakthrough given is the VVA (Variable Valves Actuation) technology on the engine. VVA functions to maintain maximum torque and power at each rotation. The front and rear lights are equipped with LEDs. In the braking sector, Nmax already relies on ABS (Anti-lock Braking System).
In the following months,   Yamaha  presented a choice of Nmax with non-ABS brakes. Even though the safety features are reduced, this scooter is becoming more in demand, because the price offered is more affordable. After that, Nmax did not only get a refresher in the form of selected colors.  
In 2017, Yamaha has also equipped this big scooter with a subtank rear suspension or rear suspension with a tube. In addition, the meter panel display is also inverted. 

Second Generation Yamaha Nmax 2019 At the
end of 2019, Yamaha gave a surprise by presenting the All New Nmax 155 Connected. There are two types offered, namely the Connected / ABS version and the Standard version.
Yamaha Nmax continues to be the closest rival to  Honda PCX  . In early 2021, Honda also began to catch up with Nmax by presenting the Honda   PCX160. This scooter has a new design and additional features. It's just a matter of waiting for the game date for Honda to launch the PCX 160 in Indonesia.

Design The design carried by Yamaha Nmax 2021 looks aggressive, sporty, but still elegant. Overall, the DNA from the first generation Nmax was preserved. Although, not a few also say that the design is slightly similar to the   Xmax 250  .
Yamaha Nmax 2021 is called a big scooter because of its dimensions. This scooter has a length of 1,935 mm, a width of 740 mm and a height of 1,160 mm. Wheelbase 1340 mm and the lowest distance to the ground 124 mm. Its own weight is only 130 kg and 132 kg. 

Yamaha Nmax 2021 relies on a telescopic front suspension and a dual model rear suspension. There is also a choice of suspension or subtank rear suspension. For the rim, Yamaha Nmax 2021 still uses a 13-inch diameter, the same as the previous generation. Likewise, the tires are wide and use the tubeless type. Front tires measuring 110 / 70-13 and 130 / 70-13 for rear tire sizes.
The color choices for the Connected / ABS type are Matte Black, White and Matte Blue. Then for the Standard type there are Matte Red, Matte Black, Matte Blue and White.

2021   uses a new generation engine. Although, the engine type and capacity remain the same. Likewise with Blue Core and VVA technology. The engine is mated to a CVT automatic transmission and is liquid cooled.
The dimensions of the piston are still 58 mm and the steps are 58.7 mm, with a compression ratio of 11.6: 1.  The engine is capable of producing a maximum power of up to 11.3 kW at 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.9 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
To compensate for engine performance, the front and rear braking systems rely on disc brakes. Brakes with ABS technology are an option on the Yamaha Nmax 2021. ABS on this scooter is also dual channel, aka working on the front brake and rear brake.

Yamaha Nmax 2021 are   priced starting from IDR 29,750,000 (OTR Jakarta) for the Standard type, IDR 31,000,000 (OTR Jakarta) for the Connected / non ABS type, and IDR 33,750,000 (OTR Jakarta) for the Connected type / ABS. . .

When compared to the   Honda PCX 150 2021  , the price is still more affordable. The premium Honda scooter is priced starting at IDR 29,843,000 (OTR Jakarta) for the CBS type. While the ABS type, the price reaches Rp. 32,842,000 (OTR Jakarta).
